Atanu Chakraborty

Atanu Chakraborty (born 5 April 1960) is a retired 1985 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, who serves as the chairperson of HDFC Bank. He was appointed by the Reserve Bank of India in April 2021. He previously served as the Economic Affairs Secretary in Ministry of Finance Government of India until his retirement in April 2020.
